Local Deals is a location-aware mobile app that shows people the best promotions from businesses around them. The moment you open it, you see featured deals and nearby offers sorted by distance. No searching required for what is already relevant to where you are.
When you want something specific, the AI-powered search bar handles natural language. You can type something like "coffee under 100 pesos" and it surfaces the right results. Categories let you browse by sector: Food and Dining, Automotive, Coffee Shops, Education, and more.
Each deal page shows exactly what you need before claiming: the discounted price, the original price, how much you save, the expiry date, and a live counter showing how many slots have already been taken. Merchant profiles include star ratings so you know who you are buying from before you commit.
On the business side, merchants have a backend built on Node.js and PostgreSQL to publish and manage their promotions. The Flutter frontend delivers a consistent experience on both iOS and Android.
